This villa stay was genuinely special — the kind of trip you think about afterwards and feel grateful for. The villa itself is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully set up, but what made the whole experience exceptional was our hostess, Linda.

First, the villa is ideal for groups and families. It has four separate bedrooms, so up to eight people can comfortably stay — yet it still feels just as perfect for a smaller group. We were only three, and it never felt “too big”; it felt like having our own private world in Ischia. There’s also a swimming pool, a lovely dining area and living room, and a kitchen that’s genuinely practical rather than empty — with useful basics like olive oil, pepper, and other ingredients already there. Small touches like that make a real difference when you’re travelling.

The interiors have real character too — I especially loved the Mediterranean-colour bathroom design, which matched the whole island vibe perfectly.

But the best part, without question, was the view. You can see Forio and the Mediterranean Sea so clearly, all the time. In the daytime the sea can shine like it’s lit from inside, and at night the town lights glow softly — the kind of scene that quietly hits you in the chest. It made me emotional in the best way, every single day.

Linda was also outstanding from start to finish. She arranged our taxi from the port to the villa, checked ferry schedules between Naples and Ischia to help us choose the best option, and gave us genuinely useful local tips throughout the stay — the sort that actually make your holiday smoother.

And the moment I’ll remember most happened right at the end: I accidentally left a bag behind, and our departure schedule was extremely tight. I was stressed because it felt like the kind of mistake that can ruin your last day. Linda didn’t hesitate. She personally brought the bag to us herself, like a courier, and did it with a warm smile the entire time. Because of her, we weren’t late and we could leave the island on time. I tried to show my gratitude properly, but she kindly refused — she was simply happy to help. That level of hospitality is rare.

If you’re looking for the best experience in Ischia, you really don’t need to overthink it — this is the one. Summer is probably the “perfect” season, but I can honestly imagine winter here feeling quietly exotic and unforgettable too.

We were a group of eight (six adults and two young children) lucky enough to spend 10 wonderful nights at Villa Marecoco on the beautiful island of Ischia. From the moment we enquired right through to the end of our stay, Linda was an exceptional and attentive host, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday to the fullest.

The villa itself is large, spacious, and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the essentials, and we were delighted to find a welcome package of food, supplies, and water on our arrival.

Perched in the hills, the villa offers breathtaking views over the town and the sea. While this does mean there’s a steep climb to get back up, we found it the perfect excuse to work off the pizza and pasta we enjoyed in Forio! The pool was a highlight — plenty of space for the children to splash around and for the adults to relax and cool off, with a large sunbathing area to soak up the sunshine.

The grounds are wonderful too, with lemon and fig trees adding to the villa’s charm and creating a peaceful, picturesque setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly look to return to Villa Marecoco in the future.

La nostra esperienza in questa villa è stata semplicemente meravigliosa; la struttura è ben curata, arredata con gusto e con un grande giardino con piscina privata appena ristrutturata che hanno reso il soggiorno ancora più piacevole. Il tutto in un contesto tranquillo e panoramico. Anche le camere sono ampie e confortevoli e la cucina è ben attrezzata. Linda è stata disponibile per qualsiasi richiesta, un’ottima padrona di casa. Linda was a fantastic hostess. She arranged for a rental car as well as linked us to a driver Vincenzo who picked us up and brought us back to the ferry port. The views from the balcony were spectacular, the area was very clean and comfortable, the grounds were so beautiful (a lemon grove?!) and the pool was just big enough for a nice dip after a day at the beach. One of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had on one of the most beautiful islands I have ever seen. The driveway up is a bit intimidating, but after one or two times up and down it wasn’t too difficult as long as the car is smaller. Not super convenient for walking around town with the narrow roads and crazy drivers, but the villa is still very close to the town center of Forio. La meilleure expérience de location que nous ayons eut ! La maison est magnifique et très bien placée. D’une propreté irréprochable et très bien équipée (nous avions même de quoi dîner et petit déjeuner en arrivant ❤️) Linda est une hôte parfaite qui a toujours été là pour nous aider et prendre soin de nous. Villa fantastica, abbiamo soggiornato una settimana quest’anno nel mese di aprile.
Relax, natura, tranquillità, vicinanza al centro, disponibilità della signora Linda e del figlio Ferdinando, la piscina privata e la zona solarium, il giardino, le piante di agrumi, sono le caratteristiche principali che ci spingeranno a tornare in questo posto favoloso.

Blew us away. The host is super friendly and helpful, all the rooms are beautiful, the kitchen is well equipped and there's lots of room in- and outside. Bus stop few minutes away and good store ~10 mins walk.

Villa stupenda, situata in una zona residenziale all'interno di una strada privata, vicina a tutto quello che vi serve per passare una vacanza da sogno (spiaggia a 10 minuti a piedi, fermata dell'autobus subito fuori la strada privata che porta alla villa, minimarket sotto casa e supermercato a 5 minuti a piedi...) sia che vogliate rilassarvi in casa sia che vogliate girare l'isola.

Ho soggiornato in questa Villa per una settimana con un gruppo di 7 amici e che dire, la stra-consiglio! Linda e suo figlio Ferdinando poi due persone gentilissime e disponibilissime, sempre pronti ad aiutare! Se dovessi tornare ad Ischia sarebbe senza dubbio la mia prima (e unica) scelta per soggiornare!
